"Mommy, is today an office day?"  Nope.

"Mommy, no school and no office!"

"Mommy, chase me."  "Mommy, I want yogurt"  "Mommy, play basketball with me." 

L and I try to share childcare as best we can on the weekends, giving each other time alone as well as carving out some time together.  It's an imperfect art.

"I think I can give you some time off tomorrow."
